# Backup Wallet

Backing up your wallet provides an additional layer of security, allowing you to recover access even if you forget your PIN. BraidPay offers two backup methods: Google Drive and Passkey.

### How to Backup Your Wallet

1. **Navigate to Wallet Settings:**
   * Go to **Settings** and select **Wallet** to access wallet management options.
2. **Choose a Backup Method:**

   * You will see two options for backing up your wallet:
     * **Backup with Google Drive**
     * **Backup with Passkey**

3. **Unlock Your Wallet:**
   * For security purposes, you’ll be prompted to unlock your wallet with your PIN before proceeding with the backup.
4. **Complete Backup:**

   * Click **Backup with Google Drive** to back up to your Google account.

   * Click **Backup with Passkey** to set up using a passkey.

   Once completed, the last backup date will be displayed next to each option.
