Backup Wallet

Backing up your wallet provides an additional layer of security, allowing you to recover access even if you forget your PIN. BraidPay offers two backup methods: Google Drive and Passkey.

How to Backup Your Wallet

  1. Navigate to Wallet Settings:

    • Go to Settings and select Wallet to access wallet management options.

  2. Choose a Backup Method:

    • You will see two options for backing up your wallet:

      • Backup with Google Drive

      • Backup with Passkey

  3. Unlock Your Wallet:

    • For security purposes, you’ll be prompted to unlock your wallet with your PIN before proceeding with the backup.

  4. Complete Backup:

    • Click Backup with Google Drive to back up to your Google account.

    • Click Backup with Passkey to set up using a passkey.

    Once completed, the last backup date will be displayed next to each option.
